The Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies at the University of Kelaniya is rapidly emerging as one of the premier faculties in the country, distinguished by its unique attributes and commitment to excellence. Its journey began in 1976 with the establishment of the Department of Commerce within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Through the dedicated efforts of our academic staff, students, and various stakeholders, we successfully elevated the department to faculty status in 1995. Today, we continue to build on this foundation, striving for innovation and quality in education and research, positioning ourselves as a leader in commerce and management studies.
