The Faculty of Computing and Technology (FCT) was established on December 30, 2015. Initially comprising three departments—Applied Computing, Computer Systems Engineering, and Software Engineering—the Faculty officially commenced operations on January 18, 2016. In addition to serving its own students, FCT is committed to addressing the unique computing needs of other faculties, enhancing computer literacy and usage among undergraduates across the university. This collaborative approach aims to foster a technologically adept academic environment, preparing students for the demands of the digital age.
