Paving the Path to Your Undergraduate Degree
Undergraduate Admission
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is the sole authority responsible for the selection and allocation of students to State Universities in Sri Lanka. To apply for undergraduate admission, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications set by the UGC. Admission decisions are based on the Z score achieved in the G.C.E. A/L Examination, with applications shortlisted accordingly. Each year, the university opens registration for undergraduate degree programs in line with the admission criteria established under the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended), ensuring a fair and transparent selection process for prospective students.
